I think this quote stuck out as I really liked the theme 'walking in the spirit' from the last couple of chapters of Galatians. The fruits of the spirit need to be our way of life, our conversation, not some beautiful words chained together in one verse!
Also helps explain the freedom we have in Christ. The life of the spirit is living by faith.

The fruits of the Spirit can be our way of life only when we realize how deep the Father's love for us. The psalmist earnestly sought God, his power and his glory. So should we seek for God's goodness to dwell in us each day.
By realizing and meditating on God's unfailing love, we will be able to live our life wholly unto Him- A life which is of the Spirit, accompanied by praise and thanksgiving unto the LORD.
